New president of the AIN (Amicale Internationale KZ Neuengamme)
Jean-Michel Gaussot, the General Secretary of the French Amicale de Neuengamme, was elected President of the Amicale Internationale KZ Neuengamme (International Committee of former prisoners of Neuengamme Concentration Camp) on Saturday at the annual AIN congress.
He succeeded Victor Malbecq, a former prisoner of the Neuengamme concentration camp from Belgium, who died in spring 2015.
The vice presidents are Janusz Kahl, a Polish survivor of the Neuengamme concentration camp and the vice-chairman of the Polish Survivors Association, Marc van den Driessche, the President of the Amicale belge, Martine Letterie, the President of the Dutch Stichting Vriendenkring Neuengamme as well as Helle Sørensen, the President of the Danish Landsforeningen af KZ-Fanger Fra Neuengamme.
