Group Tours

If you are planning to visit the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial with a group, we recommend booking a guided tour. We also offer Projects and Project Days, further education courses and seminars that can be tailored to meet the needs of your group, regardless of whether you have a club, a school class, or a group of young people or adults. These educational programmes help you to learn more about the history of the site, explore traces of the past and discuss questions. You can find more information under Education.

If you are a group of people (also larger groups) and only have a limited amount of time, or if you only want to get an overview of the site, we can provide you with an introductory presentation and film. This introduction is available in German or English at the Centre for Historical Studies only on weekdays.

We recommend planning at least one additional hour to visit the exhibitions and the grounds afterwards. For visitors who want to explore the grounds on their own, we recommend our audio guide (available for €2), or you can download our Neuengamme app on your smartphone.
