Amicale Internationale KZ Neuengamme (AIN)

Amicale Internationale KZ Neuengamme (AIN) was founded in 1958 and it is an umbrella organization of national associations of former Neuengamme prisoners and their relatives. It provided an incentive to establish a place of commemoration on the historic site of the Neuengamme concentration camp. Sixty years later, the work of AIN, which comprises associations from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Poland, is being done primarily by children and grandchildren of former prisoners of Neuengamme and its satellite camps.
