#75liberation

What does liberation mean? What did it mean to concentration camp prisoners? What happened in the days before the liberation? What is the purpose of memorial sites? On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the end of the war and the liberation of concentration camps, memorial sites, which serve as reminders of the Nazi injustice, would like to raise the awareness of the topic in the social media in 2020.

Using the hashtag #75liberation memorials all over Germany want to remember the liberation of the people imprisoned in the Nazi concentration camps. Around January 27, 2020 we would like to use the attention hashtags like #Auschwitz75 (of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial) and #WeRemember (of World Jewish Congress) will attract in the social media to point out that the liberation of Auschwitz on January 27, 1945 did not mean the end of suffering for many people still imprisoned in concentration camps all over Europe. For three weeks, starting with January 20, we will be posting stories about liberation and the people who experienced it on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook under #75liberation.
