Hey, my name is Zoia and I come from Perm, Russia. Since November 2014 I’ve been volunteering at the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial.

I mostly maintain the correspondence with the former prisoners; I work in the archive and do translation. I am happy here because I feel I am doing something useful precisely because I can speak Russian and German. That is a dream of the volunteer with a humanist worldview who has studied languages and literature. I also like to make photos =)
