Events to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the war at the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial in may 2015

• Seminar for members of the Second and Third Generation
• Public discussion with survivors of the Neuengamme concentration camp and its satellite camps
• Public talks with survivors of Neuengamme
• Visit to Neustadt/Holstein to commemorate the victims of the shipping desaster in the Bay of Lübeck on 3 May 1945.
• Commemorative ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the war and the liberation of the concentration camps, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the International Monument
• Reception held by the Hamburg Senate with First Mayor Olaf Scholz (by invitation only).
• The Future of Memory Forum
