Review on the international commemorative events 2017

On the occassion of the 72nd anniversary of the end of World War II and the liberation of the camps, the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial organized an international commemorative service on May 3 that was attended by 9 survivors from different countries. Part of the program also was a meeting for the relatives of former prisoners, the third Forum „Future of Remembrance“ and public talks by survivors. Read more

Remembering Those Deported from the Train Station Hannoversche Bahnhof

The inauguration of the new park Lohsepark in the Hafencity district of Hamburg was celebrated on the weekend of 9–10 July 2016. The opening was celebrated with a variety of events, and the so-called Fault Line (Fuge), which is part of the memorial denk.mal Hannoverscher Bahnhof, was accessible to visitors for the first time.
