Museum talk

2-hour guided visit to the main exhibition and exploration of the former prisoners' barracks of Neuengamme concentration camp.

We offer talks and tours of various lengths for the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial. The museum talk is 2 hours. This is just enough time to familiarize yourself with two of the most important locations in the grounds of the former concentration camp. We recommend visiting the very extensive new main exhibition and the restored former prisoners' barracks near the main entrance. If you are already familiar with the main exhibition, you may want to choose other aspects to explore.

The museum talk can be supplemented with a self-guided tour of the remaining grounds and other exhibitions.

When you register through the Museumsdienst, the museum talk in foreign languages costs € 30 for schools (reduced rate), € 45 for other groups .

Two-hour museum talks are also offered for the three branches of the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial in Hamburg: the Bullenhuser Damm Memorial, the Poppenbüttel Prefabricated Building Memorial and the Fuhlsbüttel Concentration Camp and Penal Facilities 1933-1945 Memorial. These talks can also take place outside of official opening hours.

A tour of the grounds.
