Research Exhibition on the Camp SS

“Posted to Neuengamme Concentration Camp: The Camp SS” is a comprehensive research exhibition about the actions of the perpetrators who were posted in Neuengamme concentration camp. It includes court records of trials, documents and biographies about the organisation of the SS and guard duty at the satellite camps and the main camp in Neuengamme. The exhibition also presents an overview of the different ways the crimes committed during the Nazi period have been dealt with by the judicial systems of the victorious Allies, the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic.

This exhibition is located in the former SS garages, where the SS kept their vehicles. The courtyard in front of the garages with the large doors was used for roll calls of the SS guards.
